They were discussing the contemporary issues you addressed and how you put them at ease straight away if they wanted to ask questions about it, they were complimentary on how well you explained things to them. They really enjoyed the singing from you, looking at the times of prayer, Wudu and their names in Arabic!

I want to thank you and your colleague for our, as ever, wonderful welcome to the Masjid e Noor. The girls enjoyed their visit immensely, they were impressed by the buildings atmosphere and have learned a lot about Islam in their visit. I think they will remember the washing for a very long time to come! Very many thanks for a memorable and educational experience.

Many thanks for attending our Big RE Day and providing such super engaging workshops. I received many compliments about it with several teachers saying it was really superb. Our pupils loved doing the calligraphy.

Alderman Knight School

Thank you for your clear and insightful tour of the Mosque. The students enjoyed their visit and have gained a lot from it in knowledge and understanding of Islamic attitudes.

The Chase School

The students have all commented that they found the debate very thought provoking and enjoyed listening to the different responses from the panel. They particularly appreciated how people with different beliefs can have an engaging discussion and ‘agree to disagree’ which I believe was modelled excellently.

Ribston Hall High School

Thank you so much for delivering the assembly to our Y10s and Y11s at Chosen Hill. All staff and students were very positive about your talk and the way it was delivered. There was a mention to you and the assembly in our weekly school bulletin. This is sent out to parents, which shows the positive impact you had on our school community.

GITEP PGCE Student Teachers

I would like to say a big thank you for allowing our Scouts to visit your Mosque. They all enjoyed the tour and were thoroughly engaged at all-times, especially when they had the opportunity to do the Wudhu (the practice of washing before prayer), the dressing up and doing the prayer at the end. The list of names, of some of the Scouts written in Arabic, is now up on our Scout board for all to see at our hut. Our Cub Scouts now want to come visit after hearing how the Scouts enjoyed themselves

Compliments have been flowing in from WI members after their visit to the Mosque. “Excellent,

fantastic, so welcoming and friendly, questions readily answered even the awkward ones,

interesting and informative, we learned so much”. Nearly four hundred WI members, plus some

husbands, from all parts of Gloucestershire were made to feel extremely welcome by the Imam

and members of the visiting team, including four lovely ladies, during the four visits. Members

were fascinated to learn about the Islamic faith, the history of the Mosque and the quiz answers

helped dispel many myths. However, it was the insight into the Muslim faith from a women’s

point of view that fascinated us all, as the many questions from the floor proved. We are so

grateful to all the team for giving of their time so generously.
